Robert Swannell
Robert Swannell and Lord Haskel

Event:

This event was held at the Houses of Parliament on the 16th November 2012 and had Robert Swannell, the Chairman of Marks & Spencer as the keynote speaker, talking on the subject of the importance of integrity and ethics in business.

He argues that at M&S, their clear stance on deeper values, integrity, sustainability in business and "doing the right thing" increasingly helps them to recruit the very best talent.

In describing the most important qualities of the best leaders of today and of tomorrow, Robert places integrity as a core competency, beyond intelligence, creativity, energy and so on. Without integrity you cannot rely on someone."

Also speaking: Lord Haskel, Tony Manwaring (Tomorrow's Company), Mark Goyder (Tomorrow's Company), Penny McLoughlin (CIMA Global).
