He has summarised the recommendations of The Stewardship 2020 Group – of which he is a member (as are two major pension schemes – RPMI Railpen and USS) – on practical steps to make stewardship work better. In particular for asset owners there is increasingly a need to understand the differences in stewardship approaches among asset managers.
