To improve public procurement – use the Trust Test
Public procurement is too often solely made on price, and not enough on true value and to account for areas...
At our Annual Parliamentary Reception on 18th November we previewed the outcomes of the Futures Project, marking 20 years since Tomorrow’s Company was founded.
Through the Futures Project Tomorrow’s Company celebrated twenty years of work as a business-led think tank which seeks to inspire and enable companies to be a force for good. We are proud of our impacts across the spheres of governance, leadership and stewardship. We have helped to stimulate changes in company law, we have inspired those who went on to create the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and the UK’s Stewardship Code, and there are many companies who will testify to our influence on their transformation and approach to leadership.
Adnams is one of these companies and at the reception Andy Wood OBE, the CEO of the company joined us. A preview of the Futures Project report which was led by Laurie Fitzjohn-Sykes was presented. Laurie reviewed who has won and who has lost over the twenty years since Tomorrow’s Company started and the results are intriguing.
