Pat Cleverly

Senior Fellow, Leadership and Insight

Pat has over twenty five years of experience in the retail banking sector, of which the last ten years was spent in corporate human resources. Coupled with a Masters in Human Resources Strategy, Pat has a wealth of expertise in understanding issues of people strategy and policy and has led a number of change programmes, which have included the practical implications of the employee/employer psychological contract, and development of an integrated competency based HR strategy. Published research includes contributions to ‘Human Resource Management – the New Agenda’, ‘Work in the Knowledge Driven Economy’, and co-author of ‘Employability: Bridging the Gap between Rhetoric and Reality’.

Since joining Tomorrow’s Company in 2000, she has designed and led its thought leadership agenda and major research programmes bring a strong systemic and behavioural focus to the topics being explored. Amongst the major reports she has co-authored are Restoring Trust: An inquiry into the effectiveness of the UK investment system, Tomorrow’s Global Company, Tomorrow’s Owners, Tomorrow’s Global Talent, Tomorrow’s Capital Markets and Tomorrow’s Global Leaders: How to build a culture that ensures women reach the top.
