Sir, According to its new chief executive, Matthias Müller, Volkswagen’s new strategy will focus on three things — digitalisation, sustainability and integrity (“VW tries to get a grip after emissions scandal”, December 11).
Why should I trust a company for which integrity is no longer seen as a timeless value guiding all behaviours, but instead as one feature of a newly launched strategy?
To me that’s not an emissions scandal but a scandalous omission.
